As part of our ‘your story, shapes our future’ programme, every month we share the stories of local people and staff to provide the ‘lived experiences’ of our system to our Integrated Care Board Members ahead of our monthly Board meetings.
We plan to use these experience to increase our understanding of experiences and make changes in the areas that matter.
Since these stories have been heard, we have also be promoting the impact and new services available, so far this has included the launch of 15 new pain cafés across the county and using patient experiences to enhance our staff training.
