We use strategies, policies and other procedural documents to help guide our staff to act and take decisions in a way that is transparent, safe, legal and consistent. You can find most of these documents in our document library.
NHS Kernow was our predecessor organisation. They planned and bought health and care services for the people registered with GP practices in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly until 1 July 2022 when the ICB was established, and NHS Kernow closed. You can use the links below to find policies, governing body papers and other documents from NHS Kernow.
Who is the document library for?
Members of the public can view documents in our document library, as part of our publication scheme. We use it to store our policies, guidelines, reports and strategies. You can also use it to download posters and information leaflets.
Why can’t I find the document I want?
There could be many reasons why you can’t find what you are looking for.
- You may be mistyping the search term.
- Looking in the wrong place, for example wrong organisation.
- The document may not exist.
- The document may no longer be available.
If the document is no longer available then it may have expired, we may have withdrawn or replaced it. Expired or withdrawn documents are no longer available, unless by special permission.

Who is responsible for the document library?
Cornwall IT Services manage the document library. The documents in the document library are the responsibility of, and owned by, the organisations which created them.
At NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly, the responsibility sits with our corporate governance team.
