Cornwall Council has produced wellbeing guides on coronavirus (COVID-19). These explain what you can do to help improve your mental wellbeing. Use them yourself, or to help someone in your household or community.

Guidance for supporting children
The Children’s Commissioner guide to coronavirus will help you answer questions from children on COVID-19. The guide will help you explain how they can stay safe and protect others. As well as ideas to occupy them when they’re at home.
Coping with stress and anxiety
If you are feeling anxious about COVID-19, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy offers advice on how to cope.

Cornwall Council have produced a guide to help you differentiate between public health guidance and obsessive-compulsive disorder induced actions.

Mental health concerns
Every Mind Matters offer expert advice and tips on how to look after your mental health. Our NHS People have information, guides, and support tailored for NHS staff. Many of the resources are free.
Visit Health Education England to access poems, podcasts, and videos.
You may find it helpful to create a mental health safety plan. The plan sets out what you will do to keep yourself safe if your mental health gets worse. Download a mental health safety plan.
MIND has information about anxiety and panic attacks. There are also tools to use when you feel anxious
Practising mindfulness may help you learn to enjoy life and understand yourself better. Start your mindfulness journey.

Family and young people
Support and information for families is available from Cornwall Council.
If you have children in your family, they might like to visit Start Now Cornwall. This is a website created for young people by young people with support, advice, and guidance.
Financial wellbeing useful resources
The Money Advice Service provides advice and guides, plus tools and calculators. You can find advice on pensions, savings, and money troubles. They also provide support over the phone.

Lifestyle resources
Healthy Cornwall has information and resources on weight management and a healthy lifestyle. They also offer advice to help you give up smoking.
We Are With You provides help and resources on drug and alcohol awareness.
Bereavement support
At a Loss provide bereavement support. This includes practical information, services, helplines, and resources.
The Cornwall Bereavement Network helps people find support and services in Cornwall.
Relationship useful resources
Lots of factors can impact on our relationships and wellbeing.
Relate provide free, confidential, and non-judgmental support for NHS and social care staff in the south west. You can access free 30-minute web chats or phone calls with advisors to talk about whatever is on your mind. They can also help you access up to 6 free counselling sessions.

Domestic abuse
Bright Sky UK is a free to download mobile app providing support and information for anyone who may be in an abusive relationship or those concerned about someone they know.
