Cornwall’s health leaders publish Joint Forward Plan

Our NHS organisations have published the first draft of a 5-year Joint Forward Plan, setting the direction for improving healthcare across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

It is a delivery plan for our Integrated Care Strategy and will continue to be developed during 2023.

The plan will be further informed by ongoing engagement on the strategy, including feedback received through our Community Conversation events. 

The Joint Forward Plan states: “As we all emerge from the pandemic and move forward, we are determined to ensure we listen, hear, and provide the appropriate support you have told us you need.

“This is our first joint plan for health services over the next five years and will change each year as we improve how we deliver services.

“You have shared your concerns over access to services and long waiting times. Over the next three years we will complete our recovery from the pandemic.

“Guided by you, we will look every year to improve the care and support we provide. Over the next five years we will ask you to help us reshape care and support to match changing needs”.
