Stennack Surgery (St Ives)

This page has helpful information if your GP surgery has referred you to attend an appointment at the St Ives primary care hub.

Non-urgent advice: Note

Please do not go to the hub unless you have been given an appointment by your GP surgery.

Where is my appointment?

The primary care hub is at Stennack Surgery, Stennack, St Ives, TR26 1RU.

The hub is located within the surgery’s minor injury unit (MIU).

If you are arriving by car

There is some free parking in the surgery’s main car park.

The car park has recently had an Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system installed.

Any patients attending and parking at the primary care hub at Stennack Surgery will need to register their car on the ANPR system at reception.

If there are no spaces within the surgery’s car park, there is a pay and display car park (Laundrette Short Stay) adjacent to the site. The below tariff is correct as of February 2024:

  • 1 hour: £1.50
  • 2 hours: £3.50
  • 3 hours: £5.20

What is a primary care hub?

Brand-new primary care hubs have been set up this winter to enable you to see a health professional more quickly.

The hubs are offering additional appointments for people with minor illness symptoms, and the staff who work in them include advanced practitioners and GPs.

The hubs are conveniently located across Cornwall, providing more health and care services locally this winter.
