Bodmin Community Hospital

This page has helpful information if your GP surgery has referred you to attend an appointment at the Bodmin primary care hub.

Non-urgent advice: Note

Please do not go to the hub unless you have been given an appointment by your GP surgery.

Where is my appointment?

The primary care hub is at Bodmin Community Hospital, Boundary Road, Bodmin, PL31 2QT.

  • When you arrive, go into the main hospital building.
  • The hub is on the ground floor, opposite the X-ray unit. Enter through the main door and turn to the left, then left again and go through the doors in front of you.

If you are arriving by car

You can park for free in the main car park.

You should arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to give you time to park and arrive at your appointment.

If you are using public transport

Bodmin Community Hospital is a regular stop on several local bus routes, including number 11, 26, 96, and 405. You can find further details on routes and booking from Go Cornwall Bus.

Do you need to cancel your appointment?

Please contact your GP surgery to cancel your appointment. This will make sure your appointment time can be used by someone else.

What is a primary care hub?

Brand-new primary care hubs have been set up this winter to enable you to see a health professional more quickly.

The hubs are offering additional appointments for people with minor illness symptoms, and the staff who work in them include advanced practitioners and GPs.

The hubs are conveniently located across Cornwall, providing more health and care services locally this winter.
