Join our Integrated Care Board’s Board: Recruitment for an independent non-executive member (NEM)

We are looking for an independent non-executive member (NEM) to join the Board of the NHS Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board (ICB).

The NEM would support the chair and board members, as well as chairing our ICB Quality Committee as part of the ICB’s work to drive better outcomes and efficiencies.

The successful applicant will also be a member of other internal committees, as agreed with the ICB chair.

What are we looking for?

The ICB needs diverse, inclusive and compassionate leaders who reflect the community they serve, and the staff employed, as well as having the leadership style and breadth of perspective to make good collective decisions.

This particular NEM, will also need the clinical expertise to bring to the Board, as the role will also chair the ICB Quality Committee.

What you need to apply

• A supporting statement (maximum 2 sides of A4) that highlights your skills and experience and allows insights on your values and motivations for applying for the role. You should outline your personal responsibilities and achievements within previous roles that demonstrate you have the knowledge, skills and competencies (and clinical and medical background) to deliver this role. • The names, positions, organisations and contact details for 3 referees. Your referees should be individuals in a line management capacity (or senior stakeholders), and cover your most recent roles and employer, any regulated health or social care activity or where roles involved children or vulnerable adults. Your references will be taken prior to final interview and may be shared with the selection panel.

• A completed monitoring information form, that can be downloaded above.

• Any dates when you will not be available for the selection process.
